Announcement:
A number of about 20 papers will be selected further peer-review process to be published in a special issue of the journal Phytochemistry Reviews,Springer Science, ISSN: 1568-7767 (Print) 1572-980X (Online).
Phytochemistry Reviews is an international review journal that publishes peer-reviewed papers in four issues annually. The journal examines topical issues, some of which result from meetings organized by the Phytochemical Society of Europe. The journal also presents original review papers advancing knowledge of plants in respect to their chemistry, function, biosynthesis, effects on other plants, animal physiology and pathology. Also covered is the application of such knowledge in agriculture and industry. The 2012 IF is 4.147.
The special issue dedicated to PSE meeting in Romania is entitled " Phytochemicals in medicine and pharmacognosy (PSE Meeting in Romania)"
Authors are kindly requested to submit their intended contribution to abstract@ccb-stejarul.ro until 27th of May 2014.
Authors of Selected manuscripts will be noticed and further requested to send their paper to the journal’s online reviewing system Editorial Manager www.editorialmanager.com/phyt no later than 15 June 2014.
Should authors not submit by this date their manuscript will not be included in this
special issue, but published in a subsequent issue. Instructions to authors can be found

Call for papers
Oral presentations (15min + 5min discussion) and poster communications (max. 90 x 120 cm, equivalent to A0 size) are welcome. All participants are invited to submit abstracts which will be published in an abstracts book. Abstract and poster preparation guidelines will be provided in the second announcement (15 November 2013).
Deadline for abstract submission is 15 February, 2014.
Official language
The official language is English; no simultaneous translation will be provided.
